Merry Christmas

Had my first real Christmas feeling this afternoon, making mince pies with four toddlers!

Not sure I'm quite Nigella yet but I certainly looked the part! It was great fun and the kids all loved it, I am currently awaiting the verdict as my husband has not returned home from work yet to sample them. I don't think I'll tell him about the incident with the pastry and our neighbours shoe. I'm sure Nigella doesn't have to contend with these kind of trials when baking. sigh.

Work wise it's been a great week, I have a new Ethiopian Restaurant in Southsea as a client and I got to sample the food - mmmmmm! and white hot chocolate with cinnamon on the top -they are fast becoming my favorite clients!
